It's spray.
I know, I just finished, I still have to wet sand and then put a couple more coats on them.
I was just making sure they looked decent before I went any farther.

It is slightly curved, I just went from where you see it start in front, to where it comes to a point on the side. Me and a friend just used painters tape until we got it perfect.

It's not bubbled, just real thin right there. That is only 2 light coats.

I am wet sanding right now though. Should have some bad ass pics along with a few more coats of black and a nice clear on them by tomorrow.

ok, well i put them in but im not too happy about them.. i didnt know i had to paint the inside of them on the top also.. it looks dumb without it being painted and my buddy told me to clear the whole headlight when i was done but now it looks nasty. theres no runs or anything but you can tell theres like a clear film on it.. did anyone else clear the whole headlight and if not, how can i get that off? ill still take a pic or 2 but its dark so i dont know how good it will show..

It does look real good as far as the eyelids go. I would tape off the actual painted part and get some paint thinner on a micro-fiber towel and lighty rub it until the clear coat comes off.

 

i have some stuff called afta also.. would that work? its a mild paint thinner. i heard that if you use paint thinner on plastic, youll mess the plastic up, is that true?

 

I have no idea. But if you heard that, don't do it then unless someone else confirms it will be ok.
