Question Silicon on Headlight Lenses...

While sealing up my headlights, I got some sealant on the headlight lenses. Anyone know how to get it off w/o ruining the lens..?

Thanks,
-Springer

Is it standard silicone? Rub it off, or use a credit card to scrape it gently... shouldn't be too hard.

clear rtv silicone adhesive sealant...

I'll try the credit card... It's a super thin layer so not sure that's going to work but I'll give it a shot.

If it's adhesive, put it in the freezer then scrape it off when its good and cold. If its just SEALANT, a credit card is the best bet. You could warm it in your oven, but depending on the type of RTV, it may just smear.
