Silver or Yellow?

Should I paint my interior trim a silver metallic or yellow to match the car? I don't want to overdo the yellow and the silver would be a different silver than stock so I'm afraid the radio and HVAC will look funny.

I vote silver because yellow might be too much.

Before:

Used the steering wheel as a proving ground to see if I liked it...

I did so I removed everything else and got it prepped.

And the finished product, including black SS logo:

I also redid the silver on the shift knob and door panels, but didn't take pics, it looks good though. Brighter silver, more metallic flake.

Thanks. I was actually nervous of this. I liked the silver, but it's always fun to add a personal touch, especially when everyone likes it, including yourself.

I went to a local custom paint shop and gave them the paint code to my car. In this case it was 9414, you can find it under your trunk liner next to the spare tire. Anyway, they made me a spray can. A word of advice to anyone wanting to go yellow, you will need to apply quite a few coats, it'll most likely take close to 2 cans.

is that painted or overlay? Honestly I can't say I'm a fan, but if he likes it, more power to him.

yeah, kinda... the yellow has sort of a clean look to it. it's something the dealer could have color matched for the SS packages and everyone would have went cuckoo for cocoa puffs after it while still having to admit, it is more "boy-racer" looking. i still couldn't help myself. i'll just go back to silver if i start to regret it.
