Well in my 07 G5 it is a Rigid Loop Festoon bulb, should be the same as a Cobalt.
I replaced mine with this LED one.

 

the dome light is a 562 bulb.

 

that one is correct but be careful because u have the bend the terminals so the light doesn't wiggle back and forth. i did that and i blew a fuse and i cant get the bulb to stay in correct. so i took that bulb out and put the stock bulb in and the terminals aren't correct so sometimes i have to hit my cover for the light to turn on.
it looked good for the amount of time i had it i just didnt like that whenever i closed my door the light would flicked in result of the bulb wiggling
