Thanks guys! Yes they are FF7's! I like them alot and the ride seems great so far. Like I said its going back to the shop tomorrow. Whatever it is, it is aligned correctly where it is at because it tracks down the road great and there was no unusual wear on the old tires, now you can just see it so easy because of the new rims.

For the SS/SC? I would see if theres the outside chance that a salvage yard might have a wrecked SS/SC with front end or rear end damage and none to the sides, which the odds of that are slim and none, thats about it. Unless someone is getting a new body kit and you can try to buy their old ones.

Ok so the body shop is telling me the lower control arm might be slightly bent and that the cradel adjustment might be all the way back. So he is going to contact the insurance company and get it all fixed.

I think the 2.4 Has a good looking ass.. I mean rear, lol, that might be another option if someone gets a body kit and you want to make a complete kit after you get the sideskirts.

I was just compairing a 2.4 SS and a 2.0 SS/SC side-by-side at the dealership and I believe they share the same sideskirts. I asked the guy at the bodyshop how much I could get SS sideskirts through him for and he looked it up and it was like $126 per side and he said he would paint them for free when he is repainting my front bumper. I think I just may take him up on this.

So other than your mis-alignment from the wreck in the front (if I understood you right...), you have any problems rubbing anywhere else? Did you say the rear? I'm gonna sportline my LT, and then get some 19's, but wondering about the clearance.

No rub anywhere other than the front right because of the wreck but I am still at stock 2.2 height.. I have SS/SC springs right now but not on and I am thinking about not even putting them on and just going with the sportlines. I am getting the SS sideskirts and I am thinking I really would like to get low with this car.

In your before pics, it doesn't look like your passenger wheel is centered there.

No it isn't. That is what needs to get fixed. It wasn't as stand out noticable as that pic makes it seem. But you can really tell with the bigger rims on there.

Anxious to see what it will do with the sportlines. That's exactly the setup I have been considering. But I'm not so sure I want to do that with itty bitty rotors behind it, and I really don't want to fork all that money out in just wheels and brakes. Either I will do the 19's, or go with some generous looking lightweight 15's and thicker tires... one extreme or the other, heh. The things that go through my head...

As far as brake performance I don't have any trouble braking. I guess I will find that out more down the road if my pads wear quickly. As far as looks I havn't paid attention to how they look behind the wheel. This is the first time I have done wheels on a car so I don't think of things to look at untill you guys tell me!lol!

Do you guys think that the car will look funny with the ss front and sideskirts with the base rear? I can always change that down the road.

yea, it might look a bit odd with the side skirts and everything except the rear, you might want to save up some more to do it all at once

It's just the laws oh physics. 19" of wheel is more rotating mass than 15"-16"... what the factory brakes are designed to work with. You'll have to do a brake job a lot sooner than planned, it's just a fact when you make that extreme of a jump in rim size. My Monte had50,000 miles, needed new rotors and pads on 20's.

As far as stopping, you won't notice much of a difference, but it's there, trust me. Do a brake test with stock wheels from 40-0, 60-0, and measure the distance. Then do it with your 19's.

Cool, I hope they don't take too long getting it fixed up right for you.

Oh man me too! This guy kind of drags his feet so I have to call him a couple of time a week to make sure he stays up on getting the parts and what not. I just want it done so I can drop it!
