I took a quick look at my neibors solstice,does anyone know if their e brake handle and boot would work in our cars?cause its really sweet handle!

 

Ooh - yes, good question, or is there any kind of boot we can put on ours? I don't like the plastic so much..
Or has anybody done any e-brake work - like maybe sliding it up a few inches so you don't have to move the console to lock it..

 

a couple of members have done a e-brake mod,but I'm more interested in the solstice e-brake

Haha, I actually just got finished reading that how-to. Looks nice, may be something I do not too far down the road.. The stock e-brake really pisses me off, you would think GM could've put a little more heart into it.

Kinda similar in concept to the Civic Si's.. but not nearly as funky

 

eww i dont like that at all. I will stick with the stocker

 

our solstice has an all silver and black ebrake and i kinda like it but im not sure if it would work on the balt. ill have to ask kenny about that one.

 

I don't like the Solstice at all either. I'd like to see someone make a nice quality Momo fit.

 

Technically theres no such thing as an E-Brake. Its officially a parking brake. Toyota lost a major court battle about this.

 

that park brake dose look good, but has anyone seen the handle in a G6? i think that would be a nice upgrade.

 

I actually test drove a few G6's before I bought this car and I have no memory of the parking brake .

 

lol well all i know is that it had the release button on the side not the top, so it was much easyer to release

 

this is not the ebrake I saw in the solstice,the one I saw is black and silver with a black booot!
