careful about the rear, i heard you need a whole new bumper, bumper i'm going to try and see if the SS rear lip will fit the Ls bumper
yeah I found one on ebay that came off an SS/SC. I'm just piecing it together a little at a time. I got a sweet deal on the front and it just had a few nicks but those were a super easy fix
also, even if the lip does fit the LS bumper, you'll still have to cut all those damn grooves in the bumper to hold it on. but i'm pretty sure you will have to have the ss/sc rear bumper cover

i really wish someone with an SS would take their side skirt off and measure where their holes are that the skirts clip into on the side of the rocker molding, because i have the bottom clips on but didnt want to drill so i tried 3M rocker molding tape but i dont trust it, i need to know where to drill the hole for the pins to puch in.

Us "SS'ers" are not all the same. You have to understand not everyone thinks its cool to fake out an LS to look like an SC. Some like it, I personally dont see the point when the money could be used elsewhere to make the car more unique..why bother with the sc **** when there is so much more you can do? If someone expresses their disinterest with the sc kit on anl s, they arent whining , its called having an opinion....
Im all for doing whatever you want to you're car. Where I draw the line is with the badging, if you put the supercharged badging on an LS, youre a ricer, plain and simple, go eat youre uncle ben's in shame.
Other than that, the majority of LS'ers I run into are dicks to me, like I am looking down on them or something, which is bs
I tried to help a guy out with understanding why the sunfire sc kit wont fit on an 06 LS at a local parts store and he simply fired back "You're just making excuses because you know my 2.2 will be faster then....I dont believe you...you fukin sc' drivers have a complex.." Hehehe, I just laughed at him and said "when the kit gets in, and it doesnt fit, I want you to remember this conversation....then, ask yourself who has the complex..."

[QUOTE=SuperchargedSS;2865335]No, this discussion is about an LS driver putting on a SC kit, plain and simple. And copying is the finest form of a compliment. The fact LS drivers want to look like an SC is a huge compliment to the sc crowd, so there's certainly no whining here.

I see where you're coming from but i looked at all the other kits and PERSONALLY thought they all looked rice except for the grip tuning and i found the SS kit for half the price of the grip kit. and if done right you cant go wrong with OEM looks. I'm making money and spending it on the car, it's brand new so i'm not turbo-ing and i'm almost fully boolted so this was a good investment for me.

AGREED!
although my seats are going to have SS on them but it's factory

^Like myself, I'm sure many people find the SC kit to be the most pleasing to the eye. Thats the only reason I don't like any of the other after market kits as much as the stock SS kit.
Body kits in general tend to be outrageous, especially wide bodies.. so I can see why many opt for the sc kit.
The SS seats in an LS is like having the cobra emblem seats in a v6 stang. Will you be keeping youre LS badging?

I upgraded to the SS leather not because they said SS, obvisouly because they are leather as apposed to the stock gray cloth seats that some stock with the LS model, and I upgraded to black G5 door panels which match the seats well.
yea. most of the after market kits seem too boxing and out of perportion to the rest of the car.
