What settles it? All the people saying you shouldn't put them on? Or the people saying you should? ...(Oh wait there weren't any)

As Homer Simpson said "Just be happy with what you've got son, don't try to keep up with the Flanderiziz!"

Brother, as a man who doesn't even have an LS, I ask for all the poor bastards who can't afford a real SS, don't do it! You've already got the wing, leave the badges off and you've done enough!

Get your performance mods done first, get the car under 14.5second 1/4mile time, and THEN put on the SS badges.

Even the SS/SC wing is IMO wrong unless you have already modded the engine etc. to at least the equivalent of the stock SS/SC

I dont see it as adding any 'appearance points'

You say you're concerned about how people cant tell the difference between the SS and the LS, and you are attempting to make it even harder for them to do so...

How about go more custom with it .. turbocharge it, and then get some totally unique custom decal to put on instead of the SS..

I fear by putting these stickers on i will only promote them more to think its an SS.

I hate the idea of a hooked up SI or something like a SRT 4 blowing me out by 8 car lengths and then they think they smoked an SS...

What do you guys think? I think the emblems would really add some appearance points to my vehicle.

Not many people can tell. People ask me if my car is the SS supercharged, but they also ask my friend with a four door if his is the ss supercharged as well....

I know everyone else is telling you not to do it, but I don't see a big deal as long as you:

1. Don't race anybody until you get that turbo

AND

2. Be honest with everyone. Tell people that you put the SS on there for looks.

LOL you guys get so worked up. Regardless of what you think im going to do what i want. I do tell people its not an SS when they ask. **** im not ashamed of my 2.2 engine. TC 2.2 smoke 2.0 SC

But i put the badge on my car ( without taking off the sticky paper) to see how it would look and i like it alot =)

I just posted this thread to get your opinions. But never planned on letting your opinions sway or decide my decision of putting badges **I** purchase for **MY** car.

As for my car being a ricer. Well i dont care lol. it Looks good it ,competes with most V 4 that arent TC or SC so im happy. When i get T/C then it will really be a monster.

that would be a non-stock vs. a stock vehicle, when we are upgraded, you will be owned, and just wait for a sleeper w/ a twin charge set-up, hell, wait for a sleeper anything and you WILL be owned, i'm waiting for someone to put the LSJ from the SS/SC and ION Redline into an Aveo or Metro
