SS Gauge Faces in a LS Sedan??
Ok does anyone know if you can use the gauge faces from the SS on a LS Sedan? I really want to change my interior look a bit but I want to stay with something "tame" looking. I do not want any ricer indiglow gauges and I am not to big on white face either. If this is possible how hard would this be to do? Could I just order them from the dealer and swap?
I wonder if you can change out the gauge cluster then? But that would probably cost more money than its worth and I am not sure it would be calibrated correctly neways. Maybe I can have http://www.blackcatcustom.com/ make me some.
Yeah, Im sure switching the gauges wouldnt work... Especially if you have a LS or LT WITHOUT the Sports Package because their speedometers only go up to 120, the Sports Package or SS N/A gets 140 and the SS S/C gets 160. It would have been a great idea if it worked but I'm with dragontearz691 on this one, get some real nice ones made and have a very Unique, Custom look!

Even at that, why one that goes to 200? What the hell kind of tires do you have on your car that are speed rated to 200????
I am currently working with Black Cat customs trying to create something based on the SS gauges yet unique to me. My question is this, Since the only real performance difference in the Sports package is 16s with Pirellis, I am wondering If once I put Z rated tires and my new wheels (looking at lightweight 17s, I plan on turboing my car and making it a aggressive daily driver with occasional drag use.!) on If I can have the dealership re-flash the ECU which would raise my speed limiter and I could use the 140 Speedo gauges. I definitely will be pushing close to that 140 limit when I am finished! What do you guys think?
