would I get flammed for putting an ss lip kit on my 2.2?

Don't believe it will fit. Rksport has a lip for the 2.2's though

 

actually they all will fit but im just not sure on the front lip, i would get the SS front bumer and lip if i was u

there is a how to on the rear lip on 2.2 bmper

 

It will fit. I seen a bunch of 2.2 on here with the ss/sc front bumper/lip

 

Well i know the full sc bumper/lip will fit.....didn't think the lip would fit straight on the 2.2 bumpers though.....pretty cool if they do. Also agree on getting an ss bumper as well...much cleaner.

 

Don't worry about what other people think. That kit looks slick, and it would look good on every Cobalt. You can get a dealer to do the work for you. Make sure it's painted and that you don't slap on any badges that your car hasn't earned.

 

well because my brother is all for the ss lip kit...i am too i love it! but i dnt wanna try and b sumthing im not...i do have some good upgrades...but still i dunno

 

IMO people put the lip on because its more astheticly pleasing.....not because its an "SS" part...nothing wrong with that.

 

Do what you want, not what other people will think is cool.

As for fitment, the SS lip will not fit on the LS front facia. You can get the 2 side skirts to work without a problem. The rear facia will require some modification, but the front needs an SS front facia to work.
