Well im trying to figure out what i need to put the SS/SC bumpers on a 2.2? I heard that they jus dont bolt up? I havent looked at a SS compared to the 2.2 so figured id ask.

 

on the coupe its suppose to be able to fit with no problems on front and rear....i think the sedan can only use the front bumper from the ss s/c

 

The actual bumpers themselves just bolt up yes. Its the lip kit for the SS/SC that does not bolt up to the stock 2.2 bumpers.

Last I heard there were only a handful of "spare" ss/sc bumpers in the country, so it might be hard finding one

 

ok well im looking to get the ss/sc bumper maybe 2.4 ss bumper? I like the lip on the SC better so i want that one. Actually it going on my gf's car....

 

I was wondering why you were asking bout new bumpers when you have the kit on yours.

I have one on my LS, you have to just rig up some way to hold the lip kit in place, the SS has 2 blocks that hold the lip in place. I had to use Zip ties and some hose to keep it tight b/c the blocks are $135 each up here in Canada. You also have to drill the body w/o a template for the sideskirts, not exactly fun, but possible I did it and love it.

 

wat blocks are you talking about?? Is it the front that you had to do that to?

 

Yes on the front there are reinforcements of some sort on either side of the bumper and the lip clicks into them.
