Yup. No Silver in Canada??? WTF??? My dealer's rep couldn't understand why it was not available either??? You can get every other color on the car that you get in the states except silver????? The only differences are the Canadian equipment package and no XM radio available in Canada, ...oh yeah...and no block heater installed!

Thats too bad. Silver would look sweet in person! Oh well. That makes this easier. Somewhat...

Now I need to decide what to get. Red or Black???? It's so hard to decide. They both look really good on the car!

 

i have had a yellow for 2 1/2 months now ... never gets old

and it looks really good too ... there are several other people around me who have yellow too that i noticed recently ...


BUT NOW, between red or black, i'd go with red ... sportier lookin'...

 

Yellow or Silver with g/85 package . I love my yellow however it shows dirt very easily. every 4 days I have to clean my car

I read something like 4 of every 10 magazine covers have yellow cars on them ...thought that was interesting ...though it wouldnt have changed my choice

If I was going to change coulour it would have been to avril blue ..(since its being discontinued and thus rare) when I was getting mine I had the choice between the two and well clearly red won but had I known that one was being axed I might have changed my vote

 

Yeah dude they both look really nice on the car, the only reason I would go with the yellow, is because it is less common than the red. The yellow inserts you can get on the recaros as well, just so you know.

 

I am very certain that you can NOT get any color of inserts with the G85 Recaro package, but there is always a chance that I could be wrong.


Anyhow, I have changed it to Victory Red. It's a nice color, suits the car really well (including Recaro seats on inside), and I know I won't be sick of it, cause I've driven a bright red car for the last few years. I Still like the Rally Yellow, but I just can't fathom owning it. Plus, I have yet to see a Victory Red Cobalt on the road, although I'm sure there is at least one in Edmonton. The Rally Yellow seems to be pretty popular in Edmonton at least. I see a few every morning on my way to school!

Thanks for all your input people. Your input helped greatly. When I win the lotto later this year and buy a Corvette Z06, maybe I'll try out Yellow!!!!

Yeah Red is a nice color on this car. There's a guy who owns one two towns away from me. I've only seen him a couple of times but it's really nice. He has tints and I belive it's debadged. I haven't seen him in a while though.
