theres a monte ss in the yard where i work that was took out a fire hydrant so im gonna check if that part comes off easily since the cars already toast after all i cant really hurt it any more then its already had done to it

Gravana had a project cobalt with a boost gauge in there. if you can get a gauge in there i'm more than sure you can put an SS badge on there.

oh yes you CAN but the oem SS is impossble without buying the entire wheel. Also the mod 303 did is nice but imo it looks wierd. Im not sure if its because the stock one has a slight curve so fitting it with the flat piece makes it like that or if it has to do with the fact that you had to remove the stock plastic support things to make it fit or what.

def not the first to see it or think of doing it. Back when I first bought my car I looked at Malibu SS's and Impala SS's while I was waiting for my paper work to go through. I noticed the SS on the steering wheel, as well the the SS embroidered headrests on the Impala. I thought about taking both the steering wheel insert and the headrests (since I they they are the same headrests) from an Impala SS for my 2.4SS 'balt, but I just never really followed through with it or cared enough to do so.
