SS stripes

I thought of this before i even had the car, what about some old school SS style strips on the cobalt SS?, do u think that would look stupid?. You would have to play with different widths to get the look right. I don't plan on doing it but i wonder what it would look like. Maybe GM should make it an option like the union jack the the minis roof.

I think the cobalt is too rounded to make them look good. You could pull them off on maybe the new Impala SS or Monte Carlo SS with the long flat hood.

Just my thoughts though.

I was thinking of doing a Corvette Grand Sport stripe on mine, but instead of paint it was gonna be clear coated carbon fiber. Then I realized that if I did that not only would it cost a fortune to get all the CF parts, but I would probably have to put in a roll cage if I did the roof.

Don't know how it would have looked, but I thought it might look really cool since the SS S/C is suppossed to be the sibling of the Corvette. Plus I would have to do all the mods to make it worthy of such a stripe. I unfortunatly don't have that kind of money at my disposal.

I thought about this. I'd use a carbon fiber carbon hood/truck and just not paint those areas. I'd be like Brian MP5T's hood on his white car.

I'd have to say that this doesnt look half bad at all, doesnt stand out so much but adds another layer to it. Looking good.
