The 08 seats are an upgrade over even the 05-07 recaros ...imo .

 

There's quite a few cars on the market with heated cloth seats. The issue is you really can't easily retrofit the functionality into seats that didn't come with it. There's an electric heating element pad that needs to go between the foam and cover material and most will have an integral or separate thermistor that reads the temp for the heating control circuit in order to keep the temperature constant (so it doesn't overheat). Since most manufacturers won't sell this separately you'd have to buy a whole set of seats to hack up. It might theoretically be possible but realistically you'd be better off just buying or keeping a set of seats that is already heated.

 

i was looking through the manual and heated seats is an option. correct me if i am wrong though
