ss/tc side skirts

im having them painted in a week or so, but have a question or two. 1. how have you 2.2 guys mounted them? drilled the holes? or double sided tape? also do they really go as low as the mudflaps? that would put them about 2 inches off the ground on my car...

They're the same sideskirts like on any other car with the kit, including G5... not specific to the turbo. And they do not go as low as mudflaps. From what I remember people have used a combination of screws and tape.

There are holes even on the base models underneath that you can use the clips on. Just not on the sides. Those in combo with the clips / screw on the sides should be sufficient.

You're going to need to dremel the mudflaps off as well.

yeah i knew i had the holes on the bottom. and i knew they were the same as the g5, sport, sc, and lt2. i was going to put it on and leave the mudflap there just put it behind it to save on the rock chips in the paint.

Ok? The mudflap is probably part of the wheel well and will need to be removed like i said if that's the case.

I would clip, double sided tape will wear out.

When i installed mine I drilled holes on the side of my car (scary). I also completely cut the mud flaps off with a box cutter knife, you cannot install the side skirts with the mud flaps on, the mud flaps bend back toward the middle of the car. The holes underneath the car match up with the side skirts. I used the clips. I tried double sided tape and it did not work.

Yup
