starting step...ss/tc paint

just started the painjob (or at least the first step) my dad is helping me paint it.... he owns a restoration shop and wants me to take the car to shows when it is done.

so what do you think so far... i dunno if i want the wing back on or not.... the paint job is going to be black on top same color on the bottom

.... also this is my first time trying to post a poll hope i don't f it up

sweet i didn't mess the poll up

leave the wing off. The hi rise looks rediculous imo.

lose the wing and lower it, lowering the car is crucial imo to make the wingless style look good, the wheel gap just kills it

Low profile wing. If you don't like it, I'd say high rise, which IMO looks better than wingless.

I don't care for wingless, I like the high-rise. Get some pics when its done! I was thinking about a similar paint job somewhere down the road and want to know how it looks.

either the high rise or no spoiler would look good....

Low rise doesnt look like its actually made for the car, it doesnt match the lines what so ever....

if anything i would suggest a different color scheme than the black/red. pretty much every 2 toned cobalt is black/red.

these cars dont look right without a wing .... it looks unfinished .... either "gasp" the low profile wing or the high-rise !!! high-rise looks great on the ss/sc & ss/tc's

i pick go with the wing, i like how it looks. and as another guy who goes to shows the wing brings more attention to your car, and thats what you want. the wing is a good touch, and will look even better with custom paint

what about silver on top and sport tint red on the bottom? with a tangello pinstriped?

or maybe a very white mint or white thick break up stripe

i am doing the break up stripe in silver to match the wheels but i don't think that silver on the top would look good cause while i am taking the windows out to paint it i am tinting them (limo)
