steering wheel cap

steering wheel cap

can the steering wheel cap b removed w out messing w the airbag if not anyone got any ideas on how to fix it

if your talking about the bow tie in the middle of the steering wheel....

well i polished mine so now its crome......

My friend took his off and put a custom badge there. It didnt mess up anything.

that is pretty sweet. I thought there was a guy who was selling them and then made off with everyones money... did it ever get resolved? any who i think it looks sweet!

Well i know Streetbadges.com did that but my friend makes his own. You have prob heard of him "Video2402". He just barely started making badges and selling them

ill post up some ......but i basically took 1500 grit sand paper and some time.....

sanded it down to bare metal.....note: this was all done with out removing the center.....

then i took some wheel polish and put about 10 or so coats on and then i had a non gold looking center steering bowtie

so...i can pop the center cap off with out ****** w the airbag..or just tape off the steering wheel and sand it down ....pics of any ideas would be awesome the ss badge looks sweet but i dont have an ss

Well my friend does custom badges. he will put anything you want. You could put "I love *****" lol it dont matter. But when you take the stock badge off the stearing wheel there is these wierd things, i would suggest a dremel or something that can cut these and sand them down. Here are some pics of what it looks like.

yea, just be careful doing it not to scratch up the steering wheel. O and yea he could do one. He would just need to know what you would want on it. what font, etc. and then you could prob just pay him over paypal or something and he would ship it to you.

i would have to ask him for a forsure price but i believe he charges like $15.00 - $20.00 for any emblem
