stock 2.2 shifter replacements

stock 2.2 shifter replacements
I know this has been covered to but i literally have been searching for about 45 mins and came up with nothing...
The Stock 2.2l shifter is held in with clips under the boot if i am not mistaken. I have never heard of "clip on" shifters before but are their after market solutions for the stock 2.2 shy of going to a STS?
