Stock black headlights vs Black projectors
i want to buy new headlights and not sure which ones to get, i want black ones and saw stock looking headlights but were painted black for $145 and i bet that would look good with hids. on the other hand saw some blacked out projectors with the leds and the halo rings for $200 but i heard they are a pain in the ass to install because you gotta wire the halo and leds up seperately. so my question is should i get the black stockers plug and play for a cheap and easy install or the mean looking projectors for a more expensive and difficult install? and what gen should i get if i get that? thanks
You can get a custom set exactly how you want them from BUYHIDS.COM HID Lights HID Kits Xenon Headlights Kit HID Headlight Kits HID Conversion Light
Now I warn you, retros are a lot more expensive because they are the best you can buy (depending who makes them of course haha) but they run around 450

quick question. what do you guys use to seal up the headlights? every single time ive seen people reseal them, they get fogged up after a while and yours seem to be ok. nice work btw
ive done it that way twice and so have others and they still fog up. when the sealant is in the sun for a long time, it releases a gas that puts a film on the headlights. they arent fogging from condensation its from the sealant. thats why manufacturers use butyl rubber instead
