stock headlights brighter?

stock headlights brighter?

can i put different bulbs in my stock headlights and fog lights to make them brighter. i have a ss/sc 2006.

yes you can. I had the night hawks in there. Now I run the MTEC cosmos blues 4750Ks. Many have even done the HID kits.

hid in stock housings is a no-no, its too much glare and not directed enough to make use of it.

i recently replaced the stockers with silvalia silverstar ultras and i couldnt beleive the difference.

My luminics only lasted 3 days shy of the 90 day warrenty....
I've heard lots good of the Silverstars. I recommend Phillips Crystalvision Ultra myself, I had them in my 04 Cavi and they were amazing!

I went with silverstar ultra's as well. Made a nice difference. I don't know about foglights though, but I'd like to get something for them.

Whatever you do dont get the Sylvania cool blues LOL.. i had them for about a month.. dimmer than my stocks.

I have had my Luminics bulbs for about 6 months now with no problems

^^^ i have sylvania "cool blue" and theyre brighter, but not a big difference. theyre not dimmer like the dude above said?? but, id go with silverstar ultras...i should of too lol

luminics ultra white are more cleaner light (barely blue tint)

but they are dimmer. with my brights on its about same brightness as stock.

i put streetglow bulbs in mine three days after i got the car so i never had to use my stocks. anyway, they have the blue tint and they're pretty bright. i think i paid like $20 for them.
