Stock SS Wheel Width
i was trying to find what the exact size of the cobalt ss wheel is? also you think i could fit a 245/35WR18 tire on it?

its a 7" rim, and no, a 245/35 will not fit, that size needs an 8.5"

i am more worried about fender or strut rub more than wheel size as we currently run a 225/50/14 on a tiburon with a 5.5" or 6" (can't remember exact size) just have to give the tire shop guy a few extra bucks to put it on as it does take more effort since the sidewalls on kumho race tires are stiff as it is

no, that size needs an 8, i have 16x8's on my camaro, and i have 245's (255's are max fit) on it. On an 8.5, you can fit up to a 265 i believe.

I've heard that they are 25 pounds How accurate that is I'm not sure.

now do you think that is wheel and tire or just wheel? hope it is both as that seems pretty heavy for just wheel

That is the wheight of the rim, excluding the tire. That is straight from a service writer from chevy.
