Strange HID projector issue

Ok I have 3rd gen projector headlights that I've had for a few year and never given me any issues. This morning I start my car and I noticed my driver side headlight is out so I get out and look at it and notice that the high beam is lit but on fully on. then I look at the passenger side and high beam is lit also but the low beam is working. I attached a few photos to show. Any ideas as to what would cause this?

did you have your high beams on or your low beams at the time? and your title is strange hid projector issue. do you have hid's in them or just the stock bulbs?

I had the low beams on at the time and I have HID's installed for the low beams. I figured out what it was though, a couple of the plugs were heavily corroded on the driver side headlight. I cleaned the corrosion off and everything seems fine now.
