ya just wondering how many cobaltss.net members on here have stripes on there car whether they are center, offset, side, hood only, etc.

well start posting

 

seat only, down the middle, brown and pretty wide. obtained when going to fast on a off ramp. no other damage.

 

I used to have em, i might have em redone come spring

It is its what the dealer installed before i bought the car. I pertty much had no choice (only SS/SC they had in a 50 mile radius for there 4th of july sale with no interest)but they honestly dont look bad in my opinion in person or on pictures

 

I understand that... my choices were Victory Red or Laser Blue... couldn't find any G85 pkgs in the area at all.

Those stripes actually look pretty good.

 

thanks its grown on me also it was also the only one with g85. Those stripes were an extra 350.....

 

Mine are controversial. Some people think they're too wide. The inspiration was the '70-'71 Chevelle SS. The stripes on the Chevelle aren't actually parallel, they taper, following the bump in the hood. Mine do the same, but the bump in our hoods is much wider.

I've done the trunk to match but haven't had a chance to take pics. Also I replaced the bow tie on the front with an SS that has been color matched to the stripes.

just a question...im not being a jerk by asking this but how comes no one goes all the way down the front and all the way down the back with stripes on their cars...not all just some

 

I liked how mine cut off at the trunklid, but for the front I did start all the way at the bottom

 

my favorite. Carbon fibre hood and paint to create carbon fibre stripes.

 

i love those carbon fiber lookin black ones. i wonder how much they would cost.

 

My stripes came like that when i bought the car. Cause it was a showroom model.
