Stubby antenna ?

I assume this is the right section for this ?

my stock antenna is huge !!
I live is a fairly small town and I went shopping for a stubby one to replace the 5 footer with, unfortunatly i came up with nothing, no stores had one, or could even order one..

can someone direct me to a spot online where I can buy and order one ?

thanks

I just use a black vacuum fitting that i bought a pack of at pep boys. i still get f m reception and it is a perfect fit over the threaded antenna part. try it and see if it works for you. the cost only a couple bucks a set.

Dude, buy a universal steel antenna at a parts store, knock the top part off with a pair of pliers and cut it to the length you want with a dremel or tin snips and super glue the ball back on.

I did mine and repainted it flat black, looks friggen sweet.

How well is that black vacuum cap faring under the UV radiation and ozone? Just curious since it's been nearly 3 years.
