Most people I know just broke it off lol there should be clips on the back holding it. I didnt have the grill in my bumper when I got it so IDK personally.

plastic grille attached to a plastic bumper... cant be to hard, i would say its bolted on by brackets but GM is to cheap for that, so its prob. just clipped on.

It has rows of plastic clips that snap behind the bumper opening. Just simply press downward at the top while gently pulling forward and it'll pop right out. If you're THAT worried about it park it with the front end facing the sun for a few hours so everything gets warmed up and softer and then they damn near fall out.

Hope this helps.

U have to remove two clips on top and four clips on bottom. Take em off with a flat head screwdriver first then pull off grille

Mine had no clips from new, maybe that's why the lower was so damn loose?
Fell out when I put it in the ditch at 15 kph (10 mph) in a whiteout

Was going to put it back in but half the little plastic tabs broke off it.....decided it will stay grill less until I do some mesh for it
