cops can careless about white kids with window tint around here.. as long as you don't have 22s and smoke blowing out of your window your good.

I got my tint ticket on a bright, sunny, hot day and my windows were down the whole time i was driving my car. The cop pulled me over just to check my tint. Nothing else. Now thats a cop with nothing better to do with his time!

im pretty sure you cant have ANY tint on the front windows in IL

and i bet nobody can beat my 0% tint ticket

 

I took the tint off my doors after getting stopped 3 times in a little over a year.

When I am driving, I'm going somewhere I need to be and can't waste time being stopped by a traffic cop for a piece of film over my window.

noo my ******* never took pics, but it was 2 layers of 5% all the way around with a fat visor strip

they tested it with 2 meters and they both said 0% but im about to throw on another layer of 5% ontop of my current 35% and i bet thats gunna read 0% on the meter too so ill forsure post pics

keep your front windows untinted. and just ghetto blast your back windows. I dont have any tint on my drivers side window. But my passenger side does have 27%, it's weird, I know. But i had my drivers side window smashed out and never got it retinted. It's actually pretty amusing when a cop asks "how tinted are your windows, and you say, "Idk, test 'em" and the only window they test shows up legal.

Well they stopped me for a dead inspection sticker, which is that way because I have 20% tint, and the dude was a dick and went all out pulling out his tint meter and said it read I have 11% tint which is bullshit, so now I gotta rip my tint off my fronts, go get a sticker, go to court, then put the tint back on

I got pulled over on Sunday for my tint, bastard took the meter out and it didnt give him a reading or something, considering the drivers side window is the only window on my car without tint. So he gave me a ticket for a busted tail light.

**** man cops are dicks where you are. I actualy got my truck re-tinted yesterday...not cuz i had to take it off before but the previous owner left the rear that was 20% factory tint in the glass and tinted the fronts to 35%, but the driver side wasnt tinted. So i got them to strip the 35% off the passenger side, and put 5% all around..so now i have 5% on my fronts and 0% in the back. They were telling me that cops come into the shop all the time in uniform with their personal cars to get them tinted dark in the front...cops dont give a **** up here..lol

I don't understand why dark tints are even illegal.... "did you see the person who was driving?" "no, their windows were too dark" , give me a break. Probably partly they do not want to get surprised when they pull someone over? I got it!!!! new law!! any tint is legal, but you have to have all your windows rolled down under all climates when pulled over. much better.

 

or you just have to stick your hands outside the window so that they know you dont have a weapon. god i ******* miss my tint i loved it man now my windows got glue swirly bullshit that i still cant get cleaned off!

 

either that or so you cant smoke a blunt while driving down the highway.

thats why i loved when i had my limo tint on the front windows

my back windows are 0% and my front 2 windows use to be 0% but will be again very shortly

the only things i can see out of my back windows at night is other cars headlights but in all honesty it dosent even affect my driving whatsoever
