Thinking about going wingless
Thinking about going wingless
I already have the low and highrise wings. I'll have the car back Monday and it will be wearing the highrise for the first time. What will probably end up happening is I'll buy a wingless decklid and change looks according to my mood until I settle on something. What do you guys think?

see. i haven't really cared much for the look of wingless, but the wing was off of it when i went in the shop and everybody was saying how much they liked it. and i'll admit, in person an SS/SC looks pretty nice that way. i've been messing around on MC:LA trying to see what I like best. I might need to post some pics of that.
If you really can't choose then just get plugs for when you go wingless. That way you can change it when ever you want and you don't have to pay like $350 to get a new decklid or get yours filled and painted.
imo, wingless is the way to go IF you have tinted windows and stock rims....iiunno why but when i took my wing off i was questioning if i liked it or not cuz at the time i had my winter steelies on and my back windows werent tinted. Then i changed to my stock rims and tinted the windows to 5% and it made it look so much better.
It's definitely gonna be dificult to get a cf trunk for around 350. Even used ones go for $400 and not including the $150-175 shipping cost
Go with plugs instead.

I swear I did a search one time online here in Memphis and found a yellow wingless lid. If I can find the website again, I'll check it out for you.

This will be how the highrise looks with the stock height and wheels.

This is how wingless will look with the sportlines and (more or less) the wheels I'll get for it.
