i have a question, do you guys think it would look "cheezy" to have a third brake light cover that says colbalt on it? just wondering thanx

i bought one off ebay, and it didnt fit, i wouldnt get it if i were you

 

it looks real cheesy to me.

 

I think they are lame

 

i think they are pretty tacky, online they look like you can see the brakes through the cracks.

 

i think its tight

 

I had a 3rd brake cover for my old Focus. It was alright. I got a few compliments from people. But, yeah, watch out. A bunch of people on the board have bought that 3rd brake cover on ebay and have said that it doesn't fit. Buyer Beware.

 

I got one and it fit fine, you gotta make the right measurements and read the instructions, and make sure you clean the lens with alcohol and let it dry, if you're rushing you wont do it right, I've done every single mod on my car, and if you want it to look good, do it right and take time, otherwise you'll have something that looks similair to a ricer.

 

I ordered one of of ebay and it was way to small, then i bitched the guy out and he sent me a new one and it fit great, and yea, use wax/grease remover let it dry and them apply, when there the right size it looks pretty sweet, plus my car is black so it goes well with it.

 

Thats mine, First try fit perfect with room to spare so i wraped it around the light. Looks awesome

 

I bought mine off ebay and they sent me 2. Good thing because I screwed up the 1st one. It's looks good

i did mine w some vinyl <??? lettering by taking the light out and put the lettering on and sanded it with high grit sand paper taped off the ring around the gasket then sprayed it w some flat black till i couldnt see through it and let it dry a couple hrs peeled the lettering off a couple coats of clear and it looks sweet! wikkymaster took a pic of it at our first meet in illinois i dont know how to add a link to it but i know it is under "some pics from our IL meet tonight!" i am going to redo it and spread out the letters more i thought the A and B went together nicely but i dont like it

 

I got mine from Autotrimdesign on ebay.. its the black one and the light does NOT shine through it. It fits perfect and looks awesome
