third brake light mod
I modify Grand Am third brake lights. I gut them out and install CCFL tubes. I heard that the Cobalt used the same unit with a different lens so I bought one to try it out. It's not the same.... similar in design but a little larger and different terminations. I have one done but I'm not sure which terminal is the plus side.
You can see the Cobalt SS third brake light that I have modified at https://www.cobaltss.net/gallery/bro...mageuser=13122
That last shot is which side I assumed was positive and negitive. It's a 50/50 chance that I got it right. Does anyone know if it is correct?
My other concern is about the placement of the inverter. Is there room for it there when the light is installed?
Thanks!

I guess since it's held on with RTV, it can be removed and stuck somewhere else if need be.
Thanks for the positive comments.
