Same spot on both doors! about an inch forward of the door lock pop up, about 4 inches from top of glass. anybody else have this problem?? this is on an 05 SS . this is something i didnt figure to have a problem with!

im thinking there must be something on the inside of the door thats hitting the window in that location. i wonder if it is going to get worse? anybody else have any thoughts on this? or what it could be, or a fix?

probably something in the door like stated above if you guys all have them in the same spot. Somebody pop off their door panel and see what might be scraping the glass.

That could definitely be the case because I've noticed even if I have my windows like 1/2 way down and close the door I can hear it moving around in it's track. I know in my Cavy the window REALLY moved around when it was rolled down and you shut the door, you could hear it banging off the inside structure of the door itself...maybe this is a similar issue which has crossed to the Cobalt as well. I'm not about to go test this out on mine but I'll keep it in mind next time I consider shutting the door with the window rolled down .

Thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna check mine because I hear a noise the last few inches the window is going up.

Did anyone find out what the problem was or why the tint was coming off the window in a certain area? I have a SS/SC on order and one of the first things I was going to do was tint the windows...
