Tint

I was wondering if anyone had a pic of a car with tint that is approved by NY law which is NY 70%| 70% ANY% 6" NET (got from sticky thread). I wanna see if this 70% is even worth my time and just get a darker tint lol.

The windows say 70% min, so they vary on a oem window because of imperfections and such.

My buddies car is in the shop right now to have the exact law done, ill try and get pics up when they finish

35% its a decent way if you want tint but not too much trouble with the law,, Try to combine different windows with different % of tints, rear ones more darker,, etc... for example,, my car is 35% all around here is a pic,, Im legal on PR but if your law says 70% well...

I think 35% is a break even point,, but you can go lighter or darker,, its your car,, and your state laws,, but again

if your going to pay for tints, install tints, go big or go home,,

IMO anything less than 20% is a waste and I wouldn't even bother. But around here they aren't too bad for pulling you over because of your tint.

70% hahaha. what a joke. you could color your windows with a sharpie and it would still be darker than that haha
