i Have 10% all around....I deffinately love it as a style statement looks good with the sunburst orange...but at night it can get annoying when you cant see anything behind you when you are in reverse.. just be careful lol..id say 20% all around is the perfect half and half matchup

What are you guys doing for the top of the back window? I have seen where some shops tint it and others cut the tint before the bubble things and I think that looks retarded.

i have a black vinyl strip put on over the dot matrix on the outside of mine to cover that up. seeing as i have a black car i dont really mind it.

id recommend 20% all around. its dark enough to get a nice effect, yet not stupid dark where you ask for trouble

i think without tints it looks kinda retarded, but then if you tint on it, it bubbles up a bit, and looks bad as well, i just tried to stick it as most as i could myself, but hate how it looks, ill see what i can do about it.

A really good tint guy can go over the top of those bubbles without an issue. The first guy who did mine did them perfectly. He said it was hard work but it IS possible

Where are you getting this deal? Lol hook a WI brother up. I plan on getting mine tinted this spring or early summer but I'm only doing legal. I've gotten pulled over before by a state trooper for having tinted tails and no front license plate back when I had my grand am. I played stupid and got off with a fix it ticket. He was determined to give me a real one, he was convinced I was a car guy and knew that was illegal but did it anyway. Haha nothing like sanding the tint off some perfectly nice tail lights and making them look like crap so I could go get inspected. If I were to get pulled over for something like that again it would be a ticket I'm sure.

I get mine done at cindys tint in Wilmington Delaware and when she does my back window she puts a vinyl strip on the inside of the window so you will NOT see any bubbles!!

Had 20% for 3 years on my last balt and never got pulled. Now I've got 15% all the way around and vinyl strip on the dot matrix, had it for 2 years been pulled once near Memphis, TN. Pretty sure he didn't like my window banner and decided to ticket me with something lol It cost me $125, just paid it and sent it in. Called it my tint tax

My SS/SC was from NY. It had 20% all around and tinted taillights. The law is 35% here in MA, so I peeled the front window tint off. They didn't seem to even notice the back windows were so dark, but they sure as hell noticed the taillights were tinted. I had to have the dealer I bought the car from replace them with stock lights.

Each to their own. The place I got my tint done does exceptional work. They wouldn't let me go darker on the front windows than what was legal in Ohio. 35% fronts and the back and rear 20% I also had them put a 20% strip on the windshield.

I'm glad I did as there have been a few times when I was pulled over and they were checked. Usually when they wanted to get me for something else like no front plate.

My main goal now is to not give any reason for them to pull me over.
