Anyone go to the DMV and pass? Ct law is 35% we have factory 70%. If you put 35 on its makes it 23%. Any one pass???? Need answers.

i always pass fine with 35% they only read your tint if it looks super dark and most places dont even have tint meter.

 

^ every inspection station in MA is issued a tint meter with there Sticker Machine. they have one, i did where i used to work. i never checked a car for tint %, just passed them

 

Not with your cobalt you don't, like I just said if you put 35% on a cobalt they are 23%. Your car comes factory with 70%(very unnoticeable, yet still there)

 

i know you're right, my car registered a 27. and the back windows were done with 20% so i dont know what they would read. only thing you can do it pull it off and re-tint it a little lighter

 

I wish ct had that because my shop does emissions.

My car looks so nice with tints and it's so nice inside. I would hate to take my

I pissed, ive always wanted to redo my rear window tint, but since the defroster is on the window the only way to take off tint is steam machine right?

I asked for 20% in the back but he was out, and did 30%. (good friend cheap price)
