Hi yall,

How many of yall have tinted cobalts? I do! Do you? Also, I was wondering -- is there a way to tint your front window? I have an LS and my front window is SO enormous. I live in a dangerous

neighborhood

in college and I wanted to tint my front window. Is it illegal? Is it done by anyone up here?

BTW...if you have any pics of great tint jobs..post em!

in NY you can only tint to top 6 inches

What are the rules about those thick tint strips on the windshield? Illegal?

i guess there are no unique tint jobs...

Anyone with reflective tint, etc.?

I know ...kinda rice ..but, just wondering...

Depends on your state.

This applies in a number of states, apparently inlcuding NC.

well here is mine i have tint and love it kuz of the sun where i live is crazy hot so yeah haha the tint helps out when i get out of school

I actually store my laptop in my car too...that has got me worried...it looks "delicious" to thieves..

Anyone get their tint done at the Stealer...ehhhr..Dealership?

Any terrible tint jobs out there? Cracks, bubbles..purple?!..post pics..lol...not if u dont want to though...

What are some prices that yall got ur tint for?

I got mine done in the sticks/country/rural area...for 200 bucks..

Most places don't even check it when its time to get an inspection anyway. I have my windshield tinted with 70% and a 35% 5" strip. I have never had a cop say something and I had this on three different cars for about 2 years total. If you do get the whole windshield tinted make sure to tell the people at the inspection place that it is there so they don't mess it up when they scrap your sticker off.
