I had my all my windows tinted but i had to remove the front ones B/C i got pulled over 3x in a month by the HP in CA.

Oh i do i have 4 tickets lined up to pay for by friday lol i took the tint off the windshield a couple weeks ago until i can afford these tickets haha

tint is great for a number of reasons:
1. Looks good
2. Blocks the sun and keeps the interior from fading
3. Added security (so people can't see what you have inside)

Problem with window tint (illegal) is that the only time it look goo ( in my opinion) is when it is illegal (full tint like 20% or lower).

Im not embarasssed or anything to admit that I often drive stoned ( flame away, lecture not point of this post). I often have a doobie or two on me as well. Anything that invites the cops to pull me over and talk to me face to face is unwelcome.

Even for you sober joes, sometimes you get caught, sometimes you don't. Depends on City and pure luck.

I had every one of my vehicles 20%, nothing on windshield for past 7 years. Never got pulled over for it or ticketed. My buddy got pulled over for it one time and they gave him warning, same month, pulled over for no seat-belt... ticket for no seat belt + added ticket for window tint+ had to remove it (200$ job)
