tint on rear windows only

Im considering tinting the rear windows on my 07 2.2 2 door but im not sure it it will look weird or not. I don't want to do the front cause i want to stay legal. If so what percentage should i get.

I say get the same percentage all around or don't bother, I think it looks weird when cars have a darker tint in the back than the front. But that's just my opinion of course. 20% is a good all around tint IMO, it's dark enough but you can still see out of it pretty good at night.

Well if he lives in a state where he can't tint the front windows but still wants to tint the back I would probably go around 35 to 20% . Not too dark and not too far from the front. Of course I'm big on darker the better. Granted I'm 5% all around including top and bottom of front. Dark as hell, but I love it.

some states it illegal to tint the front windows, such as michigan. every time i had my front windows tinted and a cop passed by me, he would slam on his breaks get behind me, pull me over, hand me a razor blade scrape it off and give me a $50 ticket. not worth the hasle to "please" someone else becuase they dont like the back 3 being tinted only

tint the back windows as dark as possible, then only put a very light tint on the front, most cops wont notice the light tint

Do them all the same %, front and back. I had 30% on both and never got a ticket.
