no, no waiving. They want their money. If i go to court I pay for court. They get it in the end. I noticed that the meter is only abouta few inches deep. Ive been thinking about cutting a strip down so they cant measure my windows and there for cant ticket me because they have no proof.

I got ticketed for window tint as well and it came with a mandatory court date! $75 for tint + $33 for court fees + $6 surcharge for being guilty.

Oh to see our liberties and freedoms being taken away. Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness my ass.

Even if the said tey would check your car, Id tell them they need a warrant for that. Because my car would be no where in site

I've HEARD, never tried this but thought about doing it after getting a tint ticket in my z28. Is to take peroxide and rub the top of the tint just down far enough to where the meter will read, and suposively it will lighten up the tint... Im not 100% sure though bc i just said **** it and paid the ticket and left the tint on the car.

They told me i had three days to get the tint off or to have it off by the next time they seen the car (they=the trooper). I told him when he gave me the ticket that the tint was not coming off the car. Told him to have a good day, rolled the window up and left.

That won't work all the time. Most of the departments got wise to that trick and now have break away meters. So they can check the back windows even if they wanted to.

I love Omaha. It's classified a Secondary offense. You have to be speeding, run a red light, or give reasonable doubt that your driving under the influence before they pull you over . But then you get a BIG ticket.

The back windows on the vehicle doesnt matter. The only windows that they care about are the pass and driver front. The "rest" of the windows can be as dark as you want.

thats only true in some states. NY is like that only the front 3 windows cant be tinted, well 70% and the rears can have anything but in PA no windows can be below 70% legally
