Tint on Tint

Alright I have been doing some research on putting tint on top of tint, and there are mixed feelings about it. Anyone have this on their cars? Any downside to it, ex: turning purple or bubbling more because its tint on tint? That's some of the problems I have read.

I have never heard of this...

Wouldn't this make it darker and even harder to see through?

tint on top of tint is maybe just to get it to the % that u cant get the first time. for example laying 50% on top of 50% will give u a percentage that is custom. i know if the legal limit is 35,, we all know when you apply the 35% its still illegal becuz of factory tint it brings it to about 30 sometimes lower.

It wont work. If you happen to get it to stick to one another it will have a ton of bubbles anyways... just get 5% and call it a day

Besides the sunroof, do we have any tinting on our windows? I haven't noticed any. During a 5 hour drive the other day I actually got a small sunburn, which leads me to think no.

i have 5% llumar tint which is one of the best tints and its darkkk and i put a double layer of tint and you could barelly see inside and one of the main things is let it dry at least for 2 weeks so all the bubbles go away cause if not its going to bubble up real quick. At least here in MIA you can get away with it i don't know in NJ how it is..
