Tinted tail chipped

Like it says, i must not have prepped a certain spot correctly but i tinted the tails myself with VHT, and a small area raised up and flaked off. Need to know how to fix this without having edges in the paint..

Sounds like they are lifting....probablly had some sort of silicone on it and weren't wiped with a silicone remover nd tacked off before applying paint. Could also be you put it on too heavy.....vht is junk and looks like crap in my opinion so it could be the product itself.

VHT looks good as long as its clrear coated and buffed.

if its lifted, strip the whole light and start over, be sure to de grease and mabey scuff the tail a little

spray the VHT on the light, good and thick, let it sit for a sec then scrub it with a towel, VHT removes itself

I'll take a picture of mine once I get the car back into spring mode, all waxed and shiny, the nightshades can look good if its done right, but 99% of the people just slap it on, dont sand or clear coat and it just looks like a flat ghetto job.

screws light ommitence like no other....theres ways to make it look good but the light ommitence when compared to black in clear wont be close. less is more sometimes.
