Tjin Edition trunks?? Interest?
in all honesty if i had a camera i would have taken pics of what a nightmare that kit was. i dont know what was worse....the fact you guys couldnt give me an answer to the problem or you guys wouldnt compensate me for lost primer to try and fix the issue. when your own primer isnt thick enough, when your own primer doesnt even stick to your product, when your bondo work is unfinished and wavier then ive ever seen in my life. im not concerned about fitment because thats weven with 2k plus warren, veilside, valdi sport and other kits that you need to trim and make fit. but all the issues i stated above plus the other crap like weak spots in the mold, a bijillion pinholes, stress cracks, etc etc. i spent 2 nights until 3 am trying to make up for your primer lifting off the product causing my materials to fail.
before any questions are raised......prep was done 100% correct, the parts were baked at 160 degrees for 1 hour before prepping to allow any mold release agent left in the product to be removed. the guy didnt expect it to be straight so i didnt bother making it staight but it would have been a nightmare in a half if i had to.
your carbon creations stuf i have seen better quality come from but i have about 9 people that can vouch for the absolute **** poor quality and hassle the kit was. sorry if im coming across as a dick but i honestly hate bringing up this subject.

ok people i moved and i finally got my internet turned on. stop PM'ing me to reply to extreme dimensions! lol. i told them id send them my trunk already! my only problem is yall are voting on duraflex trunks, i dont want a duraflex trunk otherwise i might as well just keep the **** I got. why would i want a trunk i need to paint when i have a trunk thats painted. I want a carbon trunk. If yall vote duraflex then i might as well keep my OEM trunk lol. its painted with the wing and it needs no adjustments for fitment. why would i want another one of the same thing that just fits worse lmao

I am not doubting your ability nor am I denying the fact that you may have had problems with your kit. I am not aware of when you purchased your kit but like I said we just recently made adjustments to our customer service department. We do stand behind our products. I feel horrible that you were unable to get this problem resolved through us, but I do want you to know that if you ever plan on purchasing anything from us again, you will have no problems with returning the kit or replacing the kit when fitment is an issue. Waves, swirls are out of our control 99% of the time. Thats why we always recommend that these items be taken to a professional body shop to get the work done. By your statement it doesn't seem like you need a body shop. All I can do is apologize and look forward to making sure that this issue does not effect anyone else, including yourself. Thanks.
Glad it worked out for you!

glad you guys step up to the plate. sucks my materials wont be compensated but IF and i mean IF i ever decide to purchase a kit believe me there will be an ear full if its anything like the last 2 evo kits ive done as you said you have changed the system and upped your quality. i dont have time to deal with that crap again.
as for the tjin trunks....carbon period. screw these guys that want to be cheap.....the other question i have though...with your duraflex bumpers you claim they can bend....these evo bumpers if i were to try and bend them or anything of the sort they would snap in half.
yes i realize this will i know waaay more about the automotive industry than you do will trust me ive been in it since i was 18 just didnt know if they needed an oem trunk or gestapoos thanks
Like Matt was saying that duraflex is SUPPOSED to bend, doesn't that make it a BAD candidate for a trunk? I don't want a flexible trunk. I want a very strong, light rigid one. CF or nothing. Cobalt owners need to learn to do things the right way and not the cheap way.
