Sorry, no patience to read 22 pages. I only have a 8 hour work day lol. Anyhow, whats the deal with is? Is anyone attempting to make it? If not, we here at Extreme Dimensions would like to give it shot. Granted we can find a donor to send us a trunk. We can work on making it into a carbon fiber version. Also, the donor of the trunk would obviously get his/her CF trunk for free.

You'd have to have a Tjin style trunk...

 

You need a car not a trunk or else how will you get proper position over the quarters

yea if im gonna pay a few hundred bucks for a trunk it might as well be painted so i dont have to spend another hundred to get it profesionally done & matched. makes since to me, but hey, i painted 2nd front lip after the stock one was torn off & my taillights too. Not saying i wont paint it, id just rather not deal with it lol

well you want a correct color match? sounds like you have VERY little experiance with pant. you cant depend on an out sourced company to get a super nice match without having your personal car there.

Correct me if I am wrong. Is this a full trunk thats different from the OEM? Is it the fact that it has a spoiler molded into it?

spoiler is 100% metal shaved onto a oem trunk. cobalt owners are cheap and wotn buy it. you guys need to make an add on spoiler to make some moneiz.

 

I plan on developing the trunk as a one piece. Trunk and Spoiler. But I will need both in order to make it happen.

well a cf trunk from them is like 400 so 600 wouldn't be bad but i really want to get rid of this boy racer spoiler and have something slick.

my bad its 500 but still this would be worth it.

it would be cheaper to make in cf because it's just a mold. hood/trunks aren't "real" carbon fiber for our cars. it's fiberglass with a layer of carbon fiber.
