First of all dont start talking **** this is a cobalt forum not a drama forum. Second if your gonna talk **** at least spell gel right you *******. Third the reason i dont have money is because i have more then one car and i pay car payments gas and maintenance. So stop your **** talking and and worry about yourself no one asked for your opinion i threw mine out there for the hell of it.

everyone always flamin for the dumbest reasons.. no wonder everyone calls us fail.net and in my opinion dishin out $500+ for a little lip on my trunk is completely stupid. anyone here who works like a normal person would probably agree with me, yes it looks pretty sweet but $800 bucks for a trunk with a little fin on it? gotta be kidding so dont go jumpin on people for offering $400 dollars cuz i personally wouldnt pay more than that. /bullshit

do you understand labor? this is not a commercially available product. it is all custom made with a lot of time into them.

I've finished sculpting one out of poly foam ... I'm doing the finish work now to mold I'm gonna sell these as something you'll have to take to the bodyshop and have them mold it into the trunk or ... You can do if your able too... But pics soon as the molds done

for some reason i highly doubt any of that. either way this thread is not about how nice someones car is. it's subject has changed to how cheap the cobalt community is

Well I talked to Neil directly and this is what he said "The company that was going to make them, has decided to hold off for the time being".

That sucks. But with that said if someone stepped up and made a quality piece id be willing to pay for it as long as its a fair price (labor/parts/ some profit etc)

Sorry but I had to comment here, just cuz it's freaking hilarious but aren't you the same guy that thought blades would look "cool" on a Cobalt? Especially a LS at that! HAHA epic fail!

Ohh yea almost forgot, major interest in the trunklid. I'll work overtime to afford it, I don't care, it's sexy. Worth my hard earned penny :-)

well it seems they aren't going to make it. anyone with a plasma cutter, a steady ahand and some time could make a simialr spoiler. then use support rods like Nascar. im not sure how it would look so dont jump down my throat. but im thinking 4 support rods evenly spaced in polished stainless wouldn't look to bad, or you could just weld it to the lid.

better than "molding" it to your trunk. that **** cracks every time
