Yeah, the only difference is the lack of taillight holes. It's not uncommon for Cobalt owners to get a G5 trunk to "shave" the back up lights. So, you would have G5 and Cobalt owners interested. I would be dow for sure.

Just got the green light on making a G5 Edition trunk as well. I am hoping that there will not be any issues with the trunk when it is closed, meaning I hope the rear quarter panels are the same as well. For the sake of the wing.

I will need a minimum of 5-10 people to get on board though. Please do me a favor and forward this link to any G5 forums that you may be a member of. Thank You.

Pretty sure the G5 and sedan trunks are the same exact thing, so there you go, just expanded your market...

No they're not, the g5 coupe and the cobalt coupe share the same trunk shape. Sedans are different

I don't know if he still owns the vehicle. If he does bring it by and he doesn't mind us taking pictures I will definitely do my best to do a side by side shot.

I seem to recall the original being a metal blade welded on and smoothed in. There are limits to what you can do to replicate that. What I see looks nice though.

Last time I asked about a possible sedan version, you said you guys had to wait and see how the coupe version did (which made total sense), so I've been kicking back, waiting for the coupe version to justify the sedan one.

If it's been greenlit, tell me more!

Pic or mock-up of sedan version please?

They're probably gunna need a donor sedan to get it done.
