Trim Reinstall

So after painting my trim, (which was exceptionally hard to remove) I re-installed it, and, though everything is fine, the trim above the glove box is a bit looser, and wobbles a little if you push on it. Any way to fix that? Thanks.

Pull it off make sure all the brass fittings are on the trim and still fit well. That can affect it.

Yank it back out and make sure all clips are lined up and not bent.

Even put a small strips of felt to make it snug

The more you remove the snap in pieces in these cars the looser they get

Alright, I have to remove it once more anyways to install an aftermarket deck later this spring anyhow, and do just a little touch up (I missed a tiny spot that, though no one will notice, I know it exists) so I'll double check then. I know I have all the clips, but some are probably just a little off. Thanks guys. =)
