Turn signal/hazard flickers

I have recently bought some LED tails and projectors and looking to convert to LED all the way around and I have been reading some threads and noticed many have used load resistors in the wiring to stop the rapid flicker, but I have been looking at a few websites that sell replacement flickers to replace the stock (rather than cut wiring because I like to avoid this if at all possible) and fix this issue, my question is where would the hazard flicker and turn flicker be located? I'm figuring inside the dash but I'd like a direct location rather than dismantle excessive trim and still not find it. That or are these sites claims on these just a joke and am I better off using the load resistors? Thanks for your help!

in the case of turn signals, use the 6 ohm blinker resister described in other posts. u can put these in-line on the backside of the tail light housing.

Thanks! Would this also be the case should I chose to use LED signals in the front? I'm a little electronically illiterate haha.
