Turn Signals
Yeah yeah, I know I should just go out to my car and check, but quick question. Are the bulbs for our front turn signals clear or orange tinted? I know we have that amber plate in front of the blubs so I'm assuming the stock bulbs are clear, but I'm thinking of removing that and replacing them with amber bulbs. Or are the bulbs in there already orange/amber?

Those are the ones I tried in my 07 SC headlights (in my LS) -- had to change the bulbs because one blew the first day. the entire inside burned up not just a single filament. I see the silverstars are available at Autozone (and they're made by Silvania) but I read a post where the owner has already had to replace them -- I don't want to constantly remove/reinstall my headlight pods!

automotivelightingusa.com.... part # 3057... they are sold individually... don't pull a me order one, and then have to order a second one and pay shipping twice.

I got the Silverstar Ultras for the headlights and regular Silverstar turn signals. I haven't had to change them in over a year now. You have to handle them carefully, use some latex gloves and DON'T touch the bulb with your fingers. The oil from your skin will make them hotter and burn them out quicker.
