Two Tone Lower Lip

As some of you may know I hit a raccoon last weekend that did extensive damage ($1700) to my front end. I have an LS but lucky for me the insurance company agreed to allow the shop to install a complete '08 front end which includes the SS bumper cover, lower lip, and turbo grille. I have been doing a doing a little big of contrast on my car with black such as the spoiler, rims, headlights, and bowties. I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on me painting the lower ss lip black? Also does anyone happen to have an LS with the SS bumper and lip that could post some pics. I am interested in seeing what it looks like and possibly using photoshoping this idea.

Worst case scenario i have them just paint it to match the rest of my car and then take pictures of my car and photoshop it to she if I like it or not and then have it painted black later on. If I could get pics of someones ride that already did the SS upgrade then I could photoshop it before the shop paints it and wouldn't have to pay out of pocket later to have it repainted. For reference here is the most recent pics I could find. Not the greatest. These were taken with my cell phone

Prior to having it lowered but better resolution

You have to realize your front end is going to be closer to the ground than your sides and rear bumper.

I think that if I do eventually do the black front lip I will have to get the side skirts and paint them black as well. Eventually I would need the SS rear bumper with the lip painted to tie everything together.

CA#1 Springs with 17" Rims. Lowered my LS around 2" in the front and 2.5" in the back. Would recommend these springs too. They even the car out very well, ride quality isn't too bad, and they didnt settle at all. If your worried about the ride the best way i can describe the difference from stock to these is that it was like going from regular pro tires to low pro. Yes its a little rougher but its easily bearable

The LS doesnt have the side skirts and i wont have the ss rear bumper or rear valance. I thought someone else with an ls may have added just the ss front bumper and front valance like I am planning on doing so that I could see what the lines will look like without the other parts. This way I could also photoshop it to see how the two tone would look as well

Fake CF looks like crap IMO. If i was to go that route I would take the lip off and send it to a guy in Ohio to wrap it with real CF for me.

I know the lines wont match until i get the skirts and the rear end but I will be doing that shortly.

I won't be getting the rear lower lip for free I will have to eventually order this along with the skirts. BTW does anyone know if the rear lip will mount to a LS bumper? Is the only difference between the LS and the SS rear bumper the slits for the lip?

there is. the ss rear bumper comes down lower and is wider. the ss/sc lip actually hugs the rear bumper, it is that low
