If you go around 4-6 you should be safe. Take for instance the rear view map lights. It has the plastic cover to cover it. You can't have something packed with LED's to where it's to round where you can't snap the plastic cover back on.

its funny someone bumped this thread, because i finally got around to installing my lights today. to make the 12 led bulbs work, i cut the light socket off at the top of the raised dot. i sanded the rough edge off and they looks stock.

to fix the 3rd brake light, i went to autozone and bought some led load stabilizers and wired them in. so now they aren't lit all the time, and my cruise control should work. i haven tested it yet.

All LEDS do this. That's what a LED does.

These LEDS will never drain your car out. It would take alot, and I mean ALOT of LEDS to drain your battery.

Plus they turn off when the power source shuts off. So you should have no problem.

OK, I'm going to bump the thread because I want to order LED's for my 07 LS sedan, but I want to make sure the ones I get will work.

The lights I want to replace are as follows:

Front side marker (194) [in headlight behind reflector it looks like?]
Rear side marker (194) [in taillight]
License plate (194)
Dome light (festoon) [all I have is the festoon bulb...don't have the 194's in there]
Reverse lights (921)
Third brake light (912) [what bulb corresponds to this one?]

So I need 6, 194 bulbs...should I get them color matched to the lens? Or should I get cool white for all of them? I need 2 921 bulbs in cool white. I also need the festoon bulb. Lastly, I need some bulbs for the three in the third brake light....what do I use there...is that a 921 also?

I'm going to go to V-LEDS.com and SBL.com and see what I find, I'll edit this with some bulbs and I'd like some feedback if those are correct or what I should use instead.

Thanks.

Here's what I came up with for bulbs...let me know if I should change anything. I wasn't sure about diameter for the bulbs, so I chose some that are 12 LED, but perhaps they won't fit. They are .6" diameter (that doesn't seem too big).

1 RL4410-xHP9 Rigid Loop Festoon bulb $ 4.95 $ 0.00 Cool White RL4410-CWHP9 1.00
$ 5.95
2 WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb $ 2.99 $ 0.00 Cool White WLED-CW5 0.95
$ 7.88
2 WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb $ 2.99 $ 0.00 Amber WLED-A5
$ 5.98
2 WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb $ 2.99 $ 0.00 Red WLED-R5
$ 5.98
3 921-x9 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 1.95 $ 0.00 Red 921-R9
$ 5.85
2 921-x9 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 1.95 $ 0.00 White 921-W9 1.75
$ 7.40

These are all from the superbrightled.com website...I also saw a rechargeable LED spotlight for $20 that charges via the cigarette lighter...thought that would be pretty handy to have...does anybody have one?
