I have an LS 5 speed manual and I'm just wondering how those universal shift knobs would work. Don't feel like installing an STS at the moment and want something to replace the stock one.

Pop the stock one off and the universal has 3 pointy little alllen head screws you have to tighten down. Its not hard and you'd prolly get a better answer to your question if you went to autozone or advance and just read the back of the package. Not trying to sound like a dick or anything, but ur gonna get ppl tellin you to just get the sts or don't change it at all kind of crap. So i'd just suggest headin to the store and figurin it out urself.

Install was supremely easy. Only issue I ran into was the fact that the boot ring wouldn't fit around the bottom, so I took some crazy glue and glued it to the bottom of the knob. I think it looks great and the feel of shifting seems to be improved somewhat.
